Full Charge Bookkeeper and Operations Leader 

Responsibilities

  • Record and classify financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

  • Pre-screen resumes to match candidate qualifications with job requirements and assist in coordinating interviews and onboarding.

  • Manage employee records, support the interview process, and coordinate onboarding activities. Coordinate and schedule candidate interview times across calendars.

  • Prepare and send invoices, track payments, manage accounts receivable, and process vendor invoices for timely payments.

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of employee payroll

  • Reconcile QuickBooks Online (QBO) and bank accounts to maintain accurate financial records and identify discrepancies.

  • Assist in preparing financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

  • Monitor and record company expenses, ensuring proper categorization and documentation.

  • Maintain organized and up-to-date electronic and physical records, ensuring proper documentation for financial, HR, and operational purposes.

  • Prepare documents, handle correspondence, create meeting agendas, and manage executive meeting minutes.

  • Act as a liaison between the C-Level Executive and internal teams to ensure clear, timely communication.

  • Coordinate and lead special projects, ensuring timely delivery and cross-functional team collaboration.

  • Identify and implement opportunities for operational and financial process improvements


Qualifications

Driven, team player with the desire to grow and learn in their career

4+ years work experience and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and familiarity with Quickbooks

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping.

Understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.

Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.

Strong communication & leadership skills for interacting with C level Executives, vendors, and clients.

Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team environment.

Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve discrepancies or errors.
